Baloch for comprehensive electoral reforms

Lahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that comprehensive electoral reforms were essential before the next elections, the JI central leader said that the JI would soon convene a Round Table conference of the parliamentary parties in a bid to bring the political and religious on one platform on an agenda for electoral reforms.

He said that the religious parties could provide a neat and clean leadership to the masses and also pull the country out of corruption, through their unity.

Sirajul Haq said that military rule was not the solution of the problems facing the country and the nation and the solution lay in a strong parliamentary system and democratic form government.

He said that the Pak- China friendship had become intolerable for the enemy forces which were

planning to sabotage the CPEC. He said that China would invest 56 billion dollars in the CPEC. However, he said, that Balochistan must get its due share in the project to ensure its success.

Replying to a question, he said that Pak- Afghan tension was causing problems for the people of the two countries and India and the US were benefitting from that. He said that in order to foil India’s designs, it was necessary that Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan understood their common enemy.

He said that peace in Afghanistan was possible only if the US and India pulled out from there. However, he that the US was planning to send five thousand additional troops there. He said that the US was continuing the bloodshed of the Muslims all over the world and it was patronizing the IS which had its camps in the US army headquarters.
