QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Secretary Shoaib Mir ha said house and population counting in the province was underway in peaceful atmosphere. IDPs would also be included in the Census in the light of orders of Apex court. Working group has been formed for immediate resolution of any problem about House and population counting. Army, FC, Police and law enforcement agencies were extending full assistance int he processes of Census.
He expressed these views while speaking with a joint delegation of PFUJ and BUJ here Sunday.
He said house and population counting in largest province of the country is very difficulty but all staff and law enforcement agencies were working nicely.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has carried out a detailed visit of Gwadar and during his stay he while taking review of development of Gwadar and problems has directed and has termed resolution of clean drinking water for Gwadar city.
On the request of Provincial government Prime Minister also announced to include District Gwadar in health card scheme. Visit of Prime minister to Gwadar would have far reaching impacts.
Balochistan Chief Secretary said owing to CPEC and Gwadar Port the province has emerged on the map of world and its importance has increased and its requirements have changed. He said after 2003 he ahs been posted as Chief Secretary now. There is great difference of Balochistan then and now he added. He said his attention would remain on development of Balochistan and under the guidance of Chief Minister and political leadership process of development would be furthered in Balochistan.
He said Balochistan Media was discharging its obligation dispute odd hours. Government and Media relations would be further development.
He said all aspects of abduction of Secretary Abdullah Jan have been reviewed in detail and law enforcement agencies were active for his safe recovery.
He said government officers are asset of this province and their problems and difficulties would also be resolved so that they continue discharging their obligation with complete peace of mind.
