IGP declares emergency in Hyderabad Range, Dadu Distt
KARACHI: Soon after blast at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh on Thursday declared an emergency in Hyderabad Range and Dadu District and called a comprehensive inquiry report on the blast from DIG Hyderabad. He also sought details about the police deployment in the area.
The IGP instructed SSP Dadu to secure crime scene and collect solid evidences for the probe besides brining attackers and their facilitators to their logical end. He said that better treatment should be provided to the injured in the hospitals. He directed police officials to remain in touch with the hospitals’ administrations in this regard.
He said that raiding teams should be assigned special tasks for the search of the terrorists in surrounding areas and main roads so as to arrest them. He also instructed DIGs to ensure strong mutual coordination and make intelligence sharing collection effective at all levels.
