Mild earthquake jolts Peshawar, other areas
Peshawar: A mild earthquake measuring at magnitude of 6 at the Richter Scale jolted Peshawar and adjourning areas here on Tuesday.
According to official sources the epicenter of the earthquake was at the bordering area of Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Immediately, no loss of life or property was reported.
Tremors were also felt in Islamabad, Chilas, Swat, Batgram, Lower Dir, Mirpur and other areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as well as, many areas of the Khyber Agency.
Panicked people came out of their homes and workplaces, reciting the Kalam e Taiba, when the earthquake jolted their areas.
