New law framed for Madrassas in KPK
Peshawar: A new law has been framed by KP government for registration of Madrassas in the province.
According to the law it has been made binding on the seminaries to file their audit details and annual report to provincial government and violators of this law will be awarded 6 months imprisonment and Rs 500000 fine.
Forms will be provided to all madrassas and it will be mandatory for them to provide annual report and details of annual audit through these forms.
In case of their affiliation with proscribed outfits or violation of the law the management of madrassas will be liable to undergo 5 years imprisonment and pay fine amounting to Rs 500000.
