Security heightened in Balochistan
QUETTA: Security has been heightened in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan to meet any untoward situation Thursday. This follows incidents of terrorism in Lahore, Quetta and Khyber Pashtoonkhwa.
According to details in view of fresh wave of terrorism in Lahore, Quetta and Khyber Pashtoonkhwa security arrangements have been made extremely strict on the directives of Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and IG Police Ahsan Mahbub. Security has been enhanced at important rounds about and government buildings.
Security has also been increased along Pak-Afghan border and every movement was being strictly monitored.
Provincial Home Department has imposed complete ban on display of firearms in Quetta.
