RAWALPINDI: The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a heroin smuggling bid at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport here in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The ASF officials searched the bag of a passenger, Asad Zaman, who was travelling to Riyadh through a private Airlines and recovered 1600 gram of ice heroin from his possession.
The ASF registered a case against the alleged smuggler, who was later handed over to Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Force for further investigation.
