LARKANA: A 28-year hairdresser Wazir Ali Agani, father of five kids, tried to commit suicide by taking poisonous substance but was fortunately saved by the duty doctors of Chandka Hospital here on Sunday.
His relative Majid Ali Agani told newsmen that Wazir was a very poor man and was working at a hairdressing saloon as a daily wager. He said due to unknown reasons his customers had also reduced due to which Wazir and his family members were facing worst poverty and was even unable to feed his children.
He further said that since last few days, his family was unable to have two times food a day and were facing starvation which he could not bear and tried to end his life after being dejected. He said unemployment had severely affected many poor families across the province.
