KARACHI:Three people were shot and injured by robbers on resistance in separate robbery incidents in the metropolis in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to rescue sources, two armed robbers riding a motorbike tried to loot a 38-year-old man, Ishfaq, near Nipa Chowrangi, but he offered them resistance on which the robbers shot and injured him. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
Separately, two men, a 35-year-old Iqtadar and a 24-year-old Zaher were injured when they offered resistance to bandits during a robbery incident near FTC building in Shahrah-e-Faisal.
The injured were rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
