PADDIDAN:At least 14 bogies of a freight train derailed near Padidan on Friday morning.
According to Railway authorities, the cargo train was travelling from Karachi to Punjab derailed between Nawabshah’s Bharya Road Station and Padidan. As a result, Railway traffic remained suspended on both railway tracks.
Sources said there were no casualties reported in the accident. Railway authorities said that trains had to stop at different stations due to the accident and the rail traffic would be restored within two hours.
