KARACHI: As many as 18 more dengue fever cases were detected across the city in a week, taking the reported cases’ toll to 155 in the city since 1st January 2018.
As per a weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 18 new dengue fever cases surfaced across the city from February 19 to February 26, 2018.
A total 163 cases have been reported throughout Sindh province out of them 155 in Karachi and eight from rest of province. No death was reported from dengue this month so far.
In February, a total of 70 dengue cases have been reported throughout the Sindh province out of them 65 in Karachi and five from rest of province.
In 2017, a total 2,927 dengue cases had reported across the Sindh province out of which 12 died from this fever.
