22 nursing instructors promoted as principals, vice principals

KARACHI: Sindh Health Department has posted newly promoted nursing instructors as principals, vice principals and assistant directors nursing.

According to a notification, 23 nursing instructors who were promoted to grade-18 in recent past were appointed as principals, vice principals and assistant directors nursing with approval of the competent authority.

Nasreen Akhtar Shamroze has been posted as Assistant Director Nursing (BS-18) at Directorate of Nursing Sindh, Karachi; Jamaluddin Lund as Principal Male School of Nursing Jacobabad; Shamim Ishaq as Vice Principal Male School of Nursing Sindh Govt Lyari General Hospital Karachi; Abdul Ghani as principal School of Nursing Civil Hospital, Sanghar; Imran Slaeem as principal School of Nursing Sir CJ Institute of Psychiatry Hyderabad; Shahzadi Bhatti as Principal School of Nursing KMC Civil Hospital, Khairpur and Farzana Bhatti Principal School of Nursing PMCH, Nawabshah.

The nursing instructors Anila Akram Rajput, Ashok Kumar Malhi, Fazaldin Sehro, Abdul Rauf Soomro, Najma Jokhio, Rubina, Shaista Ghnai, Shajia Kousar, Surriya Parveen Dayo, Fakhr Un Nisa, Lachman Das Malhi, Nasreen Ramzan, Mai Siani Leghari, Irshad Ahmed, Mehar un Nisa and Jamil Ahmed Khan were appointed as principals and vice principals of nursing institutes.

The principals, vice principals and assistant director nursing are directed to appear for biometrics centre at Sindh Health Department Secretariat/Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center, Karachi for capturing biometrics.

President, Young Nurses Association (YNA), Sindh, Ajaz Ali Kelari, while talking to PPI, lauded the Secretary Health Sindh and high-ups of department for promotions of nursing instructors on merit. He said promotion and posting of nursing instructors have brought a good name to the health department.

He said a summary of four-tier formula for the promotion and up-gradation of nursing posts has been waiting for approval. He hoped that the summery would be approved very soon.
