70 people join PTI in Chitral

CHITRAL: Some 70 people joined Pakistan Tahreeki Insaf (PTI) at Broze village by leaving other political parties. A party joining meeting was held at Broze village under the chair of Abdul Lateef, district president of PTI. The meeting was started with the recitation from the Holy Quran.

Addressing to the party workers, Aftab Tahir, general secretary of party’s upper Chitral chapter, said that PTI had brought real changes as well as completed different developmental schemes in Chitral. He said that work on Lawari tunnel was started during the first regime of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto which was completed by then president Parvez Musharraf and Nawaz Sharif released very less fund for its construction.

He said that work on Golain hydro power house, a project of WAPDA, was started by Parvez Musharraf and was completed in PTI government era. Other leaders also hailed services of PTI and their contribution to Chitral district.
