ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Adviser on National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui has said that a four-day national book fair would be held in Islamabad in April this year.
Chairing a meeting here on Tuesday, he said China, Iran, Turkey, Tunis, Egypt, Tajikistan, Oman and Azerbaijan would also participate in the fair.
Managing Director National Book Foundation Dr. Inam-ul-Haq Javed told the meeting that last year 0.4 million people visited the fair and books worth about Rs 20 million were sold.
