ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sakib Foric called on National Security Adviser (NSA) Lt Gen (r) Nasser Khan Janjua here on Monday.
Besides matters of mutual interest, matters pertaining to the improvement of bilateral relations and regional security situation were discussed during the meeting.
Both sides agreed to increase the momentum of interaction at all levels to strengthen bilateral ties. Speaking on the occasion, the National Security Adviser said Bosnia is a great nation with rich history.
The Ambassador said Pakistan is strategically a very important country and is effectively addressing multidimensional challenges.
He especially acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s commitment against terrorism and the measures taken by Pakistani government to promote peace and stability in the region and to improve law and order situation within the country.
He also applauded the role of Pak-Army in different UN Missions.
The ambassador conveyed the desire of leadership of Bosnia and Herzegovina to strengthen bilateral relations by promoting cooperation in multiple areas, particularly in defense, defense production and economy.
He said both countries also have immense potential to increase trade volume.
