QUETTA: President Balochistan National Party and former provincial Chief Minister Sardar Akhtar Mengal has said we would exercise our democratic right by becoming part of no trust motion. If democracy was endangered we would also be playing leading role against it. Present provincial government has prompted corruption, lawlessness and tribal enmities, Nawaz Sharif is more helpless than me. After some day another man would say “mujhe koion nikala.”
He said this while speaking to Newsmen after expressing condolences with PML-N Central leader Senator Sardar Yaqoob Nassar here Saturday.
Senior Vice President Malik Abdul Wali Kakar, Secretary General Dr Jahanzeb Jamaldini and others were also present.
Akhtar Mengal said that BNP has always did politics of principles and we have welcomed no trust against present government on the basis of principles an have decided to support it which is our democratic right. Owing to our work billions of Rupees corruption was proved against the government. If it is ended what betterment would be more than this.
He said we would attend January 9 session of provincial assembly. No trust was made against our government and it was returned. Those claiming to be champion of democracy they created frits in our party and enjoying power. If there was any danger to democracy we would also be leading that movement. Present provincial government has prompted corruption, lawlessness and tribal enmities. This government has toppled democratic governments of the past. None has contacted us yet. Nawaz Sharif is more helpless than me. Balochistan National Party would not become part of government in any case. Government is heading towards change which promoted corruption and loot.
