KARACHI: A suspected robber was shot and injured by police in Madina Colony area of the metropolis in the wee hours of Thursday.
According to police sources, two robbers were fleeing after looting a citizen in Madina Colony, when a police team rushed to the scene and opened fire in which a robber, Irfan Khan, son of Muzamil aged 26, sustained bullet injuries in his leg. However, his accomplice managed to flee.
The police arrested him in injured condition and recovered a TT pistol, motorbike and drug from his possession.
