Amount of more than Rs. 28 billion to be released to district Govt TMAs, Mushtaq Ghani

Peshawar: The Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information Mr. Mushtaq Ghani said that an amount of more than Rs. 28 billion will be released to district Government TMAs and village Neighborhood councils throughout KP during the next financial year .While responding to MNA Daniyal Aziz statement today.

Mushtaq Ghani said that unprecedented allocations and powers at grassroots level will usher a new ara of progress and prosperity in the province. He maintained PML N was afraid of the brilliant performance of KP government and issuing erratic statements.

He said that the provincial govt has recently approved the Power Policy2016 under which a comprehensive plan had been chalked out to fully utilize the hydle potential of KP for the benefits of its people. Besides, as many as 356 mini micro hydle power stations will be established in the far flung areas of the province to provide low cost electricity to the people, he added.

Ghani said that an independent Ehtisab Commission was working in the province without fear and favour which was evident from the fact that a sitting provincial minister was arrested on charges of corruption, an unprecedented event in the history of the country.

Regarding BOK the special Assistant disclosed that the Inquiry report has been completed and nothing was kept hidden. Mushtaq Ghani advised danyal aziz to have a look at the recent report of PILDAT wherein KP has been ranked first in good governance. He said that law and order situation in the province was better than Punjab and police is also acting as per law.
