QUETTA: Berozgar Agriculture Association Balochistan (BAAB), has called on authorities to create new posts of Agriculture Officers for adjustment of unemployed agriculturists of the province and implement the 4-tier-service-structure in provincial Agriculture Department so that eligible officers of the department could be promoted, creating thereby new vacancies for appointments of unemployed agriculturists of the province.
These demands were made in the protest demonstration held outside Quetta Press Club under the aegis of Berozgar Agriculture Association Balochistan. Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers said that about 2000 unemployed agriculturists of the province were awaiting announcement of new vacancies for appointment in Agriculture Department. They said eligible officers of the department could not be promoted to the next grade owing to the reason that 4-tier-service-structure had not been implemented.
They called on Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Minister for Agriculture, Mir Asadullah Baloch and Chief Secretary, Balochistan, Mathar Niaz Rana to create new posts of Agriculture Officer for adjustment of about 2000 unemployed agriculturists of the province and implement 4-tier-service-structure in provincial agriculture department so that eligible officers could be promoted to the next grade, creating thereby new vacancies for appointment of unemployed agriculturists of the province.
Protest demonstration was addressed by Rasool Bakhsh Reki, Chairman, BAA, Muhammad Jan Baloch, Bahar Khan, Muhammad Fazal, Shabir Ahmed, Saleem Badini and Waseem Baloch while Shakeel Zehri, General Secretary, Balochistan Agriculture Association and other office bearers of BAA Muhammad Fazal Baloch, Rahim Marri, Asif Raisani, Nawaz Tareen and Abdul Razaq Shahwani were also present on the occasion.
