BAP leader demands biometric verification of votes

Quetta:Leader of Balochistan Awami Party demanded biometric verification of votes in PB-17, Balochistan.

The Election Tribunal headed by Justice Hashim Kakar heard election petition filed before the tribunal by Mir Asim Kurd Gillo against successful Member Balochistan Provincial Assembly Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind. Asim Kurd Gillo, Leader of Balochistan Awami Party appeared before the tribunal.

He informed the tribunal that on 25 July during election, his polling agents were not allowed to enter polling station. He demanded bio metric verification of votes in PB-17 Balochistan.

Naseebullah Tareen Advocate appeared before the tribunal on behalf of Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind. The hearing was adjourned till tomorrow.

In the Election Tribunal, election petition filed against Abdul Wahid Siddique, Member Balochistan Provincial Assembly was also heard.

The lawyer of Appellant completed his arguments on the statement of Abdul Wahid Siddique.

Hearing was adjourned till the 6th December.
