Belgium ambassador calls on Imran Ismail


KARACHI:Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has said that due to improved law and order situation, Pakistan is fast becoming one of the preferred tourist destination of the world.

This he said while speaking with the Ambassador of Belgium Phillip Bronchain at Governor House here today. Trade Commissioner of Belgium Abid Mansoor Hussain was also present on the occasion.

Imran said that the federal government was determined to provide every possible facilities to tourists. Score of foreign tourists are coming to Pakistan, especially its northern areas, which is proof of Pakistan potential as tourist country, he added.

He said: “Pakistan offers many mesmerizing tourist points while it is also very much preferred by mountaineers from all over the world. Pakistan has many highest peaks which are very popular amongst mountaineers.”

While highlighting the potential of economic hub of Pakistan, the Governor Sindh said it offers very conducive atmosphere for investments. Investors from Belgium can invest in various sectors here, he added.

Citing the efforts of the federal government for facilitating ease of doing business, the Governor Sindh said that due to personal interest of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the economy of the country had been guided on right track. Pakistan is being tipped to be in 20 most influential countries who would hold 70% of world economy in future, he added.
