QUETTA: Establishing sustainable peace would be foremost priority. It is hoped that Police and law enforcement agencies would not only maintain their performance for security to life and property of people and improving law and order but improve it further.

These views were expressed by Balochistan chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo while speaking with IG Police Moazzam Jan Ansari here Wednesday.

IG briefed him on Quetta security plan and security measures and overall law and order situation in Balochistan.

Chief Minister appreciating sacrifices of police and security institutions for establishing peace and elimination of terrorism said that it is because of their sacrifices, situation of peace is better than past in the province today. He said still there is scope for improvement and he hoped security forces with their mutual work and cooperation of people would come out successful. They would enjoy cooperation of the government. He said peace and development are complimentary to each other. If there is peace there will be investment, private sector would make development and development process would speed up ending unemployment. He said he desired we should do some practical till completion of constitutional period in improving law and order and development sector as people feel a positive change.

He directed IG Police for making compressive and effective measures for checking incidents of target killing.
