Sialkot: Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Khawaja Mohammad Asif has said that the prevailing political scenario of the country was raising the curtains from all the faces besides uncovering the personal political designs as well.
He stated this while talking to the newsmen here Saturday after inaugurating the newly established Executive Passport Office at Sialkot.
Foreign Minister said that some political elements, already rejected by the politically matured people, were battling for becoming into the power from the back doors, saying that the PTI Chairman Imran Khan has “sacrificed” the politics of PTI’s twelve newly elected senators, paving the way for promotion of the disgruntled politics by the PTI as well.
He strongly criticized the negative styled politics of conflict and confrontation by the PTI and Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.
He said that they should give up their “day-dreaming” of coming into power as well.
Khawaja Asif said that Asif Ali Zardari was working on his self-designed policy of ignoring PPP’s old workers, saying that Zardari wanted to remove the PPP’s old workers (including Raza Rabbani) from the PPP screen, as they were the real assets of the PPP as well.
He said the Pakistani government and nation was fully supporting the oppressed people of Syria against the brutal assassination of the thousands of the innocent Syrian people by the America and its allied forces.
He demanded immediate stoppage of US led war aggression in Syria, saying that the Pakistani parliament will discuss in details the Pakistan’s foreign policy about Syria on this Monday.
