ISLAMABAD: Taking notice of Sindh government hospitals’ dilapidated condition, the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar summoned medical superintendents of 32 hospitals of Karachi along with detailed report on January 13.
The notices had been served to the MSs of the city’s hospital with the direction of filing detailed report reflecting the availability of qualified doctors, equipments, emergency machinery, ventilators, oxygen, incubators, OTs facility, Angiography machines.
The MSs were also directed to explain the position of the availability of life saving drugs and the medicines that are being provided to the patients free of cost and the ones which the citizens purchase from the market.
The Special bench of the apex court headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and comprising Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah will hear the case on Jan 13 at its Karachi registry.
