QUETTA: Police very bravely faced terrorists. Police took action in 10 to 15 minutes. He lauded Police and security forces. Allah saved Balochistan form major disaster. Police moral is high. Whatever weapons Police would require we would provide them. We would not bow before terrorists.
Relatives of those killed in suicide attack would be given Rupees one million each and Injured would be given 0.5 million for treatment facilities.
These views were expressed by Balochistan chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri while speaking with Newsmen after enquiring after health of injured people at Trauma Centre and wards of civil hospital and inspecting Methodist Church here Monday.
Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch, MPA Tahir Mahmood, IG Police Moazzam Jah Ansari, DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema and others were also present.
He said police men and security officials who brought bravely and took them to task to stop suicide attackers at Church here yesterday deserve commandments because only one police man kept at bay terrorists for quite long time in discharge of his duty and security of people’s life and property. He would recommend Presidential award for him.
Nawab Zehri said strict security measures have been made on Christmas and Dec 25. Two thousand five hundred to three thousand policemen have been deployed in the city. Besides FC jawans have also been posted. Besides strict checking at the entry and exit points of city checking was continuously was made.
He said Police and security forces have saved Balochistan from major destruction fighting with terrorists during duty. Police took action in 10 to 15 minutes and it raised its morale. He aid modern weapons and other required equipment would be provided to police because neither we nor our forces have ever bowed to terrorists nor would be so but they would be taken to their logical conclusion.
