CM (Shahbaz Sharif condemns Indian Shelling)


Sialkot : Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the unprovoked intensified shelling by Indian Boarder Security Forces (BSF) and brutal killings of the Pakistani citizens by Indian shelling.

He said that despite the Indian war aggression the moral and spirits of Pakistani nation were still very high like the mountains of the Himalayas.

He stated this while addressing the grieved families of people in Shakargarh, martyred by Indian mortar shelling in Shakargarh sector here.

CM also expressed complete solidarity with the grieved families of Indian shelling victims in Shakargarh sectors here on Saturday.

He said that the whole Pakistani nation stands united against terrorism for global peace and was also ready to sacrifice even their lives while defending every inch of the Motherland while battling against the enemy shoulder to shoulder with the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

He added that the defence of Pakistan was in very strong hands, as the armed forces of Pakistan had made the national defence hard to beat.

CM added that the people have become matured politically and they have rejected the call of the “Dharna” politics elements, saying that the elements trying wage the Dharna politics were hatching a conspiracy against the national economical and political development and stability in the country, as they also wanted to create hurdles in the smooth way of the national political and economical stability as well.

Punjab Chief Minister also distributed financial compensation cheques of Rs.0.5 million for the grieved families of the two women martyred by the Indian shelling in Shakargarh sector a few days ago.

MNA Suraya Asghar, MPAs Maulana Ghiyas Ud Din, Rana Manan Khan, Ch. Awais Khan, Khawaja Waseem Butt, RPO Gujranwala Mohammad Tahir and Commissioner Gujranwala Division Capt (Rtd) Mohammad Asif were also present on this occasion.
