COAS: (Pakistan’s progress linked to peace in Balochistan: COAS)

ISLAMABAD: A three day Makran Festival concluded in Turbat (Balochistan) on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa said presence of such a large gathering at this festival is testimony of the fact that Balochistan is moving towards peace and prosperity which is future of Pakistan’s progress as well.

He said provision of civic facilities and peaceful environment in less developed areas of Balochistan is a dream coming true. He said Khushal Balochistan program is aimed at fulfilment of this right.

Earlier, COAS interacted with local elders of Turbat at Headquarters FC Balochistan. Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qudoos Bazinjo, Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa and IGFC Balochistan (South) Major General Tariq Aman were also present. At the end of the ceremony fireworks were also held which added colour to the festive mood of the spectators.
