LARKANA: Soon a no-trust move will be brought against the prime minister as all opposition parties have agreed on it and after its success consensus will be developed on the prime minister’s name after consultation with all opposition parties including PML-N.

This was stated by Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, President, PPP, Sindh Chapter, while talking to newsmen after holding a large protest demonstration at Jinnah Bagh roundabout on Friday against recent massive fuel price hike and inflation.

Khuhro said had the opposition parties agreed to the no-confidence move initiated by PPP earlier then the PTI government would have been sent home by now. He said the prime minister’s old supporters are now seen as angry hence with better strategy prime minister Imran Khan and the PTI government will be got rid of.

He said the 18th amendment and provincial autonomy have broken the sleep of the prime minister Imran Khan due to which the federal government neither can bring presidential form of government nor impose governor rule in any province nor can the constitution be broken because if they did they would be tried for treason under article 6. He said prime minister Imran Khan is against the constitutional amendment and provincial sovereignty because provinces’ share in the NFC was increased to 57% and federal share was reduced to 43%. He said under the 18th amendment provincial share could be increased but cannot be decreased.

Khuhro said the PTI government cannot hide its failure by conspiring against 18th amendment and PPP will make sure that conspiracy to roll back 18th amendment is failed because it was passed unanimously by the parliament. Earlier, Khuhro said that petrol bomb has again been dropped over the poverty-stricken people and every month prices of petrol, gas, diesel and electricity are raised which have crippled lives of the masses. He said the root cause of all the crises is prime minister Imran Khan and his peoples-enemy policies.

Later, he addressed party activists of Kambar-Shahdadkot and Larkana districts at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Memorial Hall and urged them to take part in large numbers in the Long March scheduled to be led by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on 27th February. PPP Larkana district President and MNA Khurshid Junejo, general secretary Aijaz Laghari, Tariq Anwer Siyal and others participated in the protest.
