ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court Islamabad has adjourned the hearing of Avenfield properties reference against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members till Wednesday.
Judge Mohammad Bashir heard the case. In Tuesday’s proceedings, prosecution witness and head of JIT Wajid Zia recorded his statement.
Meanwhile, the accountability court has also adjourned the hearing of supplementary reference against former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar till tomorrow.
Three co-accused appeared before the court today. Meanwhile, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said no evidence has so far been presented in NAB references against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Talking to the media persons outside the accountability court in Islamabad on Tuesday, she said that the former Prime Minister has not committed corruption of a single penny but he is still appearing before the courts.
She said PTI Chairman Imran Khan is being exemption from appearance in a case while the same is being denied to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the politics of Imran Khan revolves around allegations and lies.
