Customs seizes huge quantity of foreign goods

NOSHKI: Collectorate of Customs Balochistan claimed to have seized huge quantity of foreign goods in different operations conducted in Noshki and Manikhuwa areas of the province on Friday.

According to a statement issued by the media cell of Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan, staff of customs seized foreign clothes, black teac, green tea, crockery, toothpaste and cosmetics in an operation conducted at customs check post, Noshki. Separately, large quantities of foreign tyres were recovered from two Suzuki pickup vehicles at customs check post Manikhuwa.

The value of the seized foreign gears, which was to be smuggled to the interior of the country, was reported to be Rs.5 crore. Operations were conducted in compliance with the directives of Irfan Javed, Collector Customs, Umer Shafique, Additional Collector by Assistant Collector Yousaf Marri, Superintendent, Salim Mandokhail, Inspector Asghar Kakar, Inspector Rafique, Inspector Ejaz, Inspector Fahad and Inspector Qurban Ali.
