Demo held against Sindh Public Service Commission

KARACHI: Awami Raj Tehreek activists and leaders held a protest demonstration outside Karachi Press Club on Saturday against Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) for reducing maximum job age limit to 30 years.

The protest was led by Awami Raj Tehreek chairman Syed Khalil Ahmed and was attended among others by Sarang Pirzada and Bilawal Lakho. The protesters were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans against SPSC injustices.

The protesters said that due to low age limit, many candidates could not sit in competitive examinations, which was a great injustice. The SPSC should also announce the results of its competitive examinations timely instead of five years, they urged. They demanded of SPSC to increase the maximum age limit for its competitive examinations to 35 years so that jobless people could also take benefit.
