ISLAMABAD: Three-day International fire, safety, security and health exhibition began here on Tuesday.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Minister for States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch said that with China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Project in implementation phase, the strict security measures have become inevitable.
He said demand for security and safety products at workplace has also increased along with tactical and operational network for facilitating trade and transport.
He said the government and security forces are continuing efforts for ensuring foolproof security and rooting out terrorism.
The Minister said the conference will serve as a platform towards developing a resilient infrastructure. He said it will also give important feedback on the effectiveness of its efforts.
Abdul Qadir Baloch said sustained efforts are needed to make Pakistan an investor friendly country. Other speakers on the occasion stressed the need for enhanced public private partnership in different fields and adopting international standard security at workplace.
