FM talking the tune of India, says Tanzeem Islami chief

Karachi

KARACHI: Tanzeem Islami chief Hafiz Akif Saeed said on Monday that Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif is talking in a tune which is favorable for our enemy country India.

In a statement, he said former chief of army staff Pervez Musharraf had provided an unconditional help to the US in its war in Afghanistan but now the present government was going beyond all the limits in terms of the help to the US.

He said: “Do more’ stated by Pakistan’s Foreign Minister is extremely shocking. The foreign minister has completely rejected the two nation theory as saying that Pakistan and India are like two branches of a tree. He also expressed concern over a statement by ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif in which he had said that both India and Pakistan shares the same culture in terms of food and living and there is only one line that separates them.”

Saeed said: “How can we get help from the God if we adopt Western economy based on interest and vulgar culture.” He stressed the need to make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state in a true sense.
