Islamabad: Foreign Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif says Pakistan’s relations with Gulf states, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran and Russia are growing day by day.

In an interview, he said ties with Afghanistan are also improving. However, he said, the whole region is facing trouble due to the situation in Afghanistan.

Speaking about national politics, the Foreign Minister said revival of Charter of Democracy is need of the hour.

He said Parliament is the supreme institution which has the authority to amend the existing laws or frame new ones.

Khawaja Asif said next general election would be held on time.
