Four injured in city road mishaps

KARACHI: Four people were injured in separate road mishaps in the metropolis in the wee hours of Tuesday.

According to rescue sources, a 50-year-old man, Qasim Ali was crossing a road near Duwa Hotel in Maripur area when the rashly-driven car hit. As a result, a he suffered severe injuries.

He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) in critical condition for treatment.

Separately, three people, Arif Ali, aged 45, Shabir Ahmed, 35 and Ali, 25, sustained injuries when a fast-moving truck hit their bike near Honda Company in Shershah. They were shifted to CHK for treatment.
