Frankfurt Pakistan and Bangladesh hold seminars

KARACHI: Messe Frankfurt Pakistan and Bangladesh held seminars on Trends and Colors in Europe by Top French Designer of Paris. President and CEO Messe Frankfurt France Michael Scherpe conducted these seminars and press conference in Dhaka recently

Michael Scherpe, President & CEO of Messe Frankfurt France was in Dhaka, Bangladesh recently with his top designer Gregory Lamaud of 2G2L for various seminars on Development of Fashion Design. Gregory Lamaud of 2G2L has been in the fashion industry for more than 10 years as a fashion designer, artistic director, teacher and lecturer. Starting at ESMOD International Paris and being awarded the Golden Needle by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. Gregory Lamaud is now deeply involved in development of fashion trends at Leatherworld/Texworld/Apparel Sourcing Paris.

Michael Scherpe and Gregory Lamaud held seminars with garment manufacturers of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), the largest garment exporter association of Bangladesh. A separate seminar was held with the members of Bangladesh Leather Footwear Association with emphasis on developing trendy leather accessories and garments to the newly added show Leatherworld Paris.

Michael Scherpe President, Messe Frankfurt France, Gregory Lamaud of 2G2L and Omer Salahuddin, CEO Messe Frankfurt Pakistan & Bangladesh held a press conference at the local hotel which was attended by all prominent print and electronic media of Bangladesh. His interview and news were shown on Prime time news by all the important channels.

During the trip, Scherpe also visited Secretary Ministry of Commerce, Shubhashish Bose, Vice Chairman, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Bijoy Bhattacharjee and Vice President (Finance), Bangladesh Garment Exporters Association (BGMEA) – Mohammed Nasir. Saiful Islam President of Bangladesh Leather, Footwear Association and other prominent Businessmen.
