TANDO GHULAM ALI:A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide over social media blackmailing in Tando Ghulam Ali town on Monday.
After being dejected over social media blackmailing and threatening calls by some persons, Aneela, the student of Intermediate, allegedly committed suicide by taking a poisonous substance in Tando Ghulam Ali town’s Meghwar Mohalla in Ward 5.
The heirs said that the accused persons blackmailed the girl with edited pictures and got her engagement broken besides making her threatening calls.
The body was shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. The police have started probe into the incident after getting a suicide letter mentioning the names of blackmailers.
