Girls outshine boys in Home Economics exam by clinching all three positions

KARACHI:Girls outshone boys by clinching all three top positions in Intermediate Part-II Home Economics Group Annual Examination 2019 result announced by the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Monday announced.

According to the result statistics, a total of 266 students were registered for the examination out of which 262 appeared in it while 161 could pass it. The pass percentage stood 61.45.

Fifteen candidates passed the examination in A-1 Grade, 37 in A Grade, 48 in B Grade, 45 in C Grade, 16 in D Grade and 0 in E Grade.

Positions: Ashna d/o Muhammad Saeed Musani, Roll No 1421, student of Ra’na Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home Economics, clinched first position with 1079 marks out of 1200; Armish Samee d/o Muhammad Samee, Roll No 1433, student of Ra’na Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home Economics, got second position with 1058 marks while third position went to Hajra Faheem d/o Muhammad Faheem Akbar, Roll No 1479, student of Ra’na Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home Economics, who obtained 1045 marks.
