QUETTA: Balochistan is of great significance geographically and there are vast and profitable opportunities for investment in agriculture, livestock, industries and minerals. Province was passing through extraordinary development process particularly China Pakistan Economic Corridor would cause development of economic and commercial activities.
These vies were expressed by Balochistan Governor Mohammad Khan Achakzai while speaking with a private Chinese company delegation headed by Wu Zhidan here Sunday. Chief Secretary Aurang Zeb Haq was also present.
Governor said Pakistan and China have friendly relations and there are profitable opportunities of cooperation and development. In case of cooperation in different sectors mutual relations would further stabilize. He said present government was taking concrete measures for overcoming energy crisis and ensuring supply of clean water in the province particularly Gwadar city. Hopefully it would have positive results. He said due to shortage of rains depleting underground water level is cause of grave concern. China can provide cooperation for resolving underground shortage of water and water shortage.
Chinese delegation head said we view friendship with Pakistan with regard. He expressed investment in different sectors in Balochistan.
