Home minister orders extraordinary security for Holi

KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal on Thursday felicitated Hindu community on the eve of its annual Holi festivity beginning from today in Pakistan, India and other parts of the world.

He said that his party stands committed for ensuring equal rights and security to the minorities while social welfare works were included in his party agenda on priority basis for minorities.

The home minister directed police officials to ensure extraordinary security arrangements around minorities’ residents and worship places with the joint cooperation of Hindu community leaders. He said that extraordinary security should be made at police station level for Holi celebrations. He directed police to beef up security during Holi.
