KARACHI: Inspector General of police (IGP) Sindh AD Khowaja on Friday took notice of media reports about alleged abduction of a citizen from New Town area.
The IGP took notice of media reports about the abduction of a citizen belonging to Hindu community from New Town. He directed the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) East to submit inquiry report in this regard as soon as possible.
Khowaja also directed that an investigation team be formed and recover the citizen at the earliest. He said that measures should also be taken for the safety of the affected family.
