Institute of English farewell program

KHAIRPUR:The Institute of English Language and Literature, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur held an event to bid farewell to passing out students.

In its traditional annual farewell party, the juniors arranged different segments like singing, poetry recitation, comedy parody, dramatic performance and dialogue competition to make the day memorable for the comrades.

The Director Institute of English Language and Literature Prof. Dr. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah who was also the chief guest of the day congratulated the passing out graduates and wished them greet success in future.

He informed the students that the doors of Institute are always welcome for alumni and there contribution may take this Institute to the newer heights.

Speaking on this occasion, Muhammad Ibrahim Khokhar told the students that the real challenge of life begins after completion of the University degree. However, for the graduates of English areas like competitive exams, teaching, creative writing, journalism and freelance reporting open the wide gates of opportunities.

Prof. Rubina Shaheen, Prof. Hassan Shaikh and Prof. Paras Khaskheli also spoke on this occasion and shared their best memories with the students.

Speaking in very emotional tone, the passing out students Imran Abbasi, onu Soomro, Ms. Shaista Suhag, Gulab and Ms. Jannat-ul-Firdous told that Institute was like their second home.

They told that here they were not only offered the gens of learning but the guidance of mentors like Syed Zafar Shah and Sir Mukesh Kumar would make them feel proud till the very last moment of life.

The event was coordinated by the juniors Syed Dua Shah, Ms. Mehreen and Muhammad Ali and Abdullah Gadani. At the end of the program, the seniors were gifted with shields and other traditional gifts.
