ISLAMABAD: In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested Hurriyat Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, in Islamabad town on Friday.
Mukhtar Waza along with a party delegation was scheduled to visit Khudwani area of Kulgam to meet the families of the youth recently martyred by Indian troops. However, Indian police arrested him outside his residence and detained him at Sherbagh Police Station in the town.
Indian police also arrested Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, Bilal Siddiqi, from his residence in Srinagar.
