LARKANA: A grand jirga was held at the residence of PML-Functional leader Mahmood Khan Bughio in Dokri on Monday, in which a three-year-old dispute between two groups of Machhi community over Karo-Kari was decided.
It was proved in the jirga that the allegation of Karo-Kari on Saeed Machhi was true; therefore, he was fined Rs 250,000. The leader of the jirga also imposed a ban on accused person Saeed that he would never live or never enter into his village. He further directed the accused to leave his home village Ghulam Hussain Butt immediately and never come back.
