Journalists demand recovery of missing son of Editor

Hyderabad:Senior journalists here Friday expressed grave concern over alleged kidnapping/missing of the son of senior journalist and editor of Pakistan Press International (PPI) News Agency Shafqat Ali Soomro.

PFUJ Assistant Secretary General Hamid Shaikh, executive body members Junaid Khanzada, Abdul Kareem Shaikh, Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ) President Hameedur Rehman, secretary general Sheeraz Dahri and other journalists said that 25-years-old Muhammad Shafaat, the son of Editor Shafqat Soomro, went missing while going to his workplace from his home, which is highly saddened.

They condemned the incident and demanded from the Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, IGP Sindh Dr Syed Kaleem Imam and other higher authorities to take notice of the sad incident. They demanded immediate recovery of the missing young man.
