Journalists’ plots issue will be resolved soon: CS assures

KARACHI:Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah visited Karachi Press Club on Thursday and congratulated its newly elected office-bearers.

He appreciated the role of KPC in promoting and developing journalism at national and international level. He maintained with immense pleasure over his membership of Karachi Press Club. The Sindh Chief Secretary noted that the KPC buildings is a historical cultural heritage. He said that journalists’ plots issue would be resolved soon.

He desired that the media also owe to publicize the measures and steps of the provincial government for awareness of the masses, enabling the people to avail the services being rendered by the government for public welfare.

Replying to the queries of journalists, Shah expressed pleasure that organizing PSL events in a peaceful atmosphere was the success of all sects of life, which was indeed a highly valuable segment.

He assured the KPC office-bearers to do the needful in resolving the issue of lease and development under specific schemes.

President Karachi Press Club Imtiaz Faran, Secretary Arman Sabir, Senior Journalists AH Khanzada, Shams Kerio and others office-bearers welcomed and paid thanks Sindh Chie Secretary on his visit to KPC.
