KARACHI: Two killed, two injured in firing incidents

KARACHI: Two people were killed and two others injured in firing incidents in the metropolis on Tuesday.

According to rescue sources, a 34-year-old man, Qaim Raza, son of Nasir Abbas Rizvi, was shot dead by unidentified armed men near Imambargah in Korangi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy.

In another incident, a man, Mufti Kamran, aged 46, was killed and a 50-year-old man, Mufti Ghulam Akbar, wounded when unknown armed men opened fire on them in Gulsha-e-Iqbal’s Block-6 near Madina Masjid. The body and injured were taken to a nearby hospital for post-mortem and treatment, respectively.
