Karachi: The fourth day of the final round of PPL Balochistan Football Cup 2018, saw last year’s champions Panjgur face defeat against Kharan with a 2-1 score line. The most thrilling match witnessed so far during the final round was enjoyed by a large number of football spectators at the Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium (Malibagh), Quetta.
The acclaimed skipper of Panjgur, Abdullah failed to clinch victory against Kharan despite getting many opportunities in both halves. Panjgur’s Naveed Ahmed scored the first goal for his team, however, while defending the goal attempt by Kharan’s Saif Ali mistakenly pushed the ball in his own goal resulting in match equalization in the first half.
Ilyas from Kharan scored the second goal for his team and thus clinching victory in the second half. Saif Ali of Kharan was declared Man of the Match.
