ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved ten thousand rupees monthly stipends for clerics of all Jamia Masjid in the province.
The decision was taken during a meeting of provincial cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak in Peshawar on Monday.
The meeting was informed that more than three point two billion rupees will be spent on the stipends annually. Clerics of more than twenty-seven thousand Jamia Masjid will benefit from it.
The meeting approved the re-structuring of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade.
Speaking on this occasion, Pervez Khattak directed the concerned authorities to start E-billing, and E-biding in the government departments to ensure transparency in financial matters.
