ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is spending five hundred and forty million rupees on housing sector during current fiscal year.
According to spokesman of Provincial government, it includes seven ongoing while nine new housing schemes.
Under Khpal Kor (My own home) scheme, small houses are being constructed for low income government servants and poor people across the province.
One thousand seven hundred and fifty-five (1755) kanals land will be acquired for the housing scheme in Hangu. In Swat, one thousand and five hundred kanals of land will also be acquired for this purpose.
Similarly, designs are being prepared for construction of apartments and a shopping mall on Warsak Road Peshawar.
